As per legend, mighty Pandavas, during their exile, cultivated at this land and hence the name derived Dev Kyara mean "ploughland of Gods".

Dev Kyara velley offers mesmerising view of Swargarohini, Bandarpooch, Kalanag Parvat (Black Peak) and ample opportunities to capture the majestic snow-covered peak. The trek to Devkyara starts from Jakhol and passes through lush vegetation of rhododendrons, oak and deodar forests.In winter, it is covered with snow.
