Feel the joy of being in lap of Himalayas. Once you complete this trek as your maiden expedition, you will get addicted to the joy of witenessing natural beauties of Himalyas.

Deoriatal is the pond of Indra Deva and as per our ancient history, it is Sarovar of all Deva (Gods) who use to come here for a bath. It is the place where the mighty Pandavas were asked queries by Yaksha before they were allowed to quench their thirst. The Yaksha-King Yudhisthir's "queries and answer" is very famous source of knowledge. However, local belives that Bhima (the pandava) made this pond to quench his thirst.

This lake offers wide 300° beautiful panoramic view. Snow caped mountains like Chaukhamba, Nilkantha, Bandarpunch, Kedar Range, and Kalanag can be viewed from here. Trek starts from Karokhi or Saari. Depending on availability of time, trek can be extended to Jhandi Top, Rohini Bugyal, Tunganath, Chandrashila and other locations can also be done from here and can also start from Ukhimath or Painj.
