Story : Chandrashila(Shri Tunganatha Temple)

Chandrashila mean " Moon Rock". When covered in snow, it look like the Moon serving as ornament of Bhagwan Shiva. At the summit Shri Chandra Deva did penance to please Bhagwan Shiva. You will find Shri Tunganatha Temple in route your trek, Shri Tunganatha is 3rd Kedara who blessed Pandavas. At Ravanshila, Rakshasha King Ravana did penance to please Bhagwan Shiva.

This summit provides views of the Himalayas, including Nandadevi, Trisul, Kedar Peak, Bandarpunch, Chaukhamba peaks and many more. Trek passes though meadows, Ravanshila, and Shri Tunganatha Temple turning your expedition most joyful.
